Why is it so hard to stop?? I love a walk, looking up! Lately I've spent hour after hour seated, reading, and it's driving me to explosive goofy dance breaks. Must be what my body needs!
Playing the ukulele helps me rest, even though it requires focus, but a different kind of focus than writing. True fact: the ukulele is the happiest instrument in the world.

I wish I were there to dance too!

Ukulele! I love it. It does seem like it’d be the happiest instrument.
I too am learning to trust the process more and more – resting & nourishing > grinding & brute forcing
some of my favorite forms of rest are walking, doing yoga, baking, spending time with friends
happy resting!
Rest is so nourishing! And so far I haven't lost interest in returning to the other part of the cycle ;)
Working out (exercise) isn’t rest but it is what I need to do to balance between work and the rest
And I like stitching (embroidery)
And I love getting Thai massages
Oh, I’ve never heard of Thai massages (going to look it up!)
Cara, have you found someone near you who gives Thai massages? 💆🏽♀️
Janet, I realized I HAVE had a Thai massage! ☺️
And…was it for you?
I just had another this week. So great
You know, it wasn’t for me. I like a gentler massage...and I love a scrub at the spa occasionally
OMG 😳
